Curious is to how others think he will do this year on the big bike... Husky no less. The kid has wicked speed in supercross and I'm pulling for him. I say he gets a few top fives and one podium and an ass ton of high fives from the gals..

some questions that pop up here are so ill timed. How about see how he does saturday and then ask? How would anyone know now? There's no facts to base an opinion yet. Here is a question, how will Ryan Surrat do his rookie year?

I too think we should wait untill MEC to start pondering things like this, but for what its worth, he did just win in Sweden on the 450. Also he won a 250SX Championship last year, so I would say there are some facts.

Tickle and Weimer also won championships before moving up. Although, I think JA will cause some problems and snag a win or two, with his jersey untucked.

I'd say third will be his best finish in 2015. In 2016 he will grab his first win.

I say 6th.

Guys like him, Baggett, Wilson and Seely will be the ones (barring injuries) challenging for wins in 2016 and beyond.

Guys like Barcia and Tomac will be doing that this year for sure. It`s there turn.

I don't see Jason winning in 2015. Maybe he could snag a fourth at some point, if things go his way, but I think he will be in the lower half of the top ten for the most part.

I'm thinking 3rd, and a constant top 5 threat.

Aldon will help him tremendously.

I think a few top three's would be about right.

He needs to put together good starts and consistent 20 lap mains. I don't think he's fast enough right now to be able to straight-up beat (catch and pass) Stewart, Canard, Dungey, Roczen, Barcia.

I do believe that he is fast enough that if he gets a holeshot and several of the top guys can't work their way through the pack, he can probably put in solid laps to battle for a win.

I didn't realize Aldon was training him... Talk about polar opposites. I only know Jason from what a I see (and like) on social media. He seems like WAY more a of a laid back Gen-Y almost hippy-ish kind of guy. Aldon is going to have to put on his fatigues. Hopefully the two compliment each other.

he might really excel in that climate.

Aldon does things his way, but if Jason can get through the hard part I think he has to see the end results with the guys standing around him.

This could be the boost he needs. For sure no more taco bell for that kid!!!

I think he'll do well, but I think the rider that will surprise this year will be Seeley (is that spelled right?) Cole reminds me of MC. A couple good rides on the big bikes while riding the lights, but when he goes full time on the big one, I think his good starting ability and smooth throttle control will get him a win or two this year. I'm not even going to use the MEC as a guide to his ability. It's too big and fast of a track to really be classified as a SX track. Come A1, we'll see what they are all made of.

Couldn't you say that about almost every rookie? ...that a rookie wont win? Including the ones who did win?

Do any of you ever get tired of speculating?

I'm not gonna say one way or the other what I think, other than I like the kid's aggressive style. ..and I think that aggression can certainly make opportunities.

His riding style reminds me a lot of Tomac. Aggressive and respectable at the same time. His progression last year was unbelievable. Can't wait to see how he does this year.

his riding style is different than anyone I've seen. I usually predict quite well in this sport, although i've gotten it wrong (Ivan Tedesco, Justin Barcia - so far) but I'm going on a limb and guessing th3 450 will suit Jason even better, but more importantly his approach to the track is just brilliant. he's going to win races in his first supercross season.
