Not necessarily on the track, but the MC/Emig dealio was fun, too. Would have been very interesting if social media was around at the time.

I didn't start following the sport until age 15, around 2003 or so. Since then, I guess Reed/Carmichael, Stewart/Carmichael, and Reed/Stewart. Reed and Stewart has been the best by far. I also enjoyed the 250 battles of Roczen and Tomac. Looks like they will carry on in the 450's

RC vs Stewart was short but great. If you look at rivalries one guy usually dominates the other. Stewart usually had no problems with Reed same with Johnson and Ward after 1986. Emig and MC was great from 1995 to 98 in MX but not as great in SX. The best rivalries usually are short lived like RV-Townly 07 lites MX. Bradshaw and Chicken as well because Bradshaw threw away his title trying to hit him.

RV/Alessi delivers on a number of levels. I don't think they've even seen each other on the same track in forever and it still seems like the rivalry is pretty strong, haha

The Beast and Chicken was great from a standpoint that they HATED each other and you never knew what would happen when they were occupying the same section of track. People were losing there minds over Alessi/Tickle last yr, go watch Bradshaw jump the berm in Vegas '92 and hit Chicken like a heatseaker. Dude was straight trying to break his leg. Most times Damon was at the front though, Chicken back in the pack. He couldn't hold a candle to the Beast, taking a little lunch out of the rivalry since they were never really battling

Stewart and Reed just because of the longevity of the whole thing. It's definitely been entertaining. Hopefully Tomac/Roczen will carry the torch when JS/CR retire.

Although it was only for a season, the J-Law vs Dungey battle was one that i really enjoyed. It seemed like it was a rivalry that Dungey didn't really want to get into, but J-Law really got in his head that year

Ricky vs Reedy was a good rivalry. Ricky had him covered outdoors big time but indoors was another story. Anyone remember the 2002 US Open? Ricky literally stopped on the track to block reedy in and looked over his shoulder at him. It was awesome!

I'm pretty sure Tomac/Roczen will continue for a long time, but it'll be different than Reed/Stewart in that they won't be ramming and block-passing each other as much

When I think rivalry, that's what I think, two guys who want to hurt each other.

Yea, but that wasn't supercross. The funny thing is, they still hate each other 30 years later.

Reed and Stew.

Doesn't matter how long you been following the sport, but this is the one. Only because of the media outlets. Weather it be Social or actual online media.

I am sure there were other great rivalries, however they didn't have the internet to make them more exciting.
