Hi all,

I travel abroad next week which will include a shitload of flying and bussing about Europe. So i'm putting the feelers out for the best moto videos you know of that will keep me entertained.

I've got the usual Moto 5, 6, 7 movies, nitro circus films, etc. But I'm talking more about documentary or feature type films such as TT3D Closer to the edge or Senna

So it's not just restricted to two wheels Smile I'd be interested in a good Dakar film or Finke desert race. Perhaps there's one about the GNCC or something that you know of?

All suggestions welcome. Thanks!

IMO a Modren day -> on any Sunday = on the pipe part 1 - worth checking out !!!

If any sunday was a glimpse of the 70s - fast forward 30 years -> on the pipe part 1 is a modren day classic , kdub , mc , Larry Ward , JS7 (on 125), RC , Reed , Renner , Nate Adams , Travis Prastrana all in their prime ! everything that was worth remembering of the last 30+ years lol

On any Sunday Is great to see such passion with such crappy bikes and crappy times , I feel sad for those guys ,like I do for all two stroke riders , just got too old , bike tech didn't catch up and they missed REAL mx , like when it became a real sport I mean!

Fast forward to - on the pipe part 1 - mx is a real sport , first clips of the switch to fourstrokes , plenty of two strokes & they covered all the information like they are introducing you to the sport and its players / anyone who hasn't seen this ! This is a must see!

Next: The Adventures of Twitch & Scummy ! These modren day warriors , as kids , innovating the world of metal mulisha , again this movie is full of cultural references , information , behind the scenes look at a couple of the best riders Cali ever produced / also a must see !

Some of the best movies that have been made are the bar2bar series!
2003 was the first dvd
2002 was the last vhs tape (lol in 2002!) (Shows you how behind mx was with vhs tapes still in '02 lol)
I have ALL of them!

But if I had to hand one 'non-riding person' a movie and say : this is motocross !!

I'd hand them : on the pipe part 1

Notable others; 199 lives of TP, Ironman of Enduro : David Knight, 2005&2006 erzberg rodeo movies ! (Prastrana , MC , Knighter)

Too name few ....

Hope this helps !!

Have a good trip !!

"Faster" and "Fastest".... I think. Couple documentarys about road racing. Not 100% sure I got the names right but they used to be on Netflix at least. And of course Inside the Outdoors, The Great Outdoors on YouTube.

There's this sweet off-road movie called 'From The Other Side' on iTunes. *Shameless Plug*

Other films:
Intersection - Josh Grant Story
Dusty to Glory
Any TGO(The Great Outdoors) film
Or the Moto: Inside the Outdoors tv show
Hitting the Apex
Spectrum Series - 8 Episodes I think
Ryan Villopoto, 2 be continued
Motonomad 1 & 2
Long Way Round
Long Way Down
Race to Dakar
A Day in the Dirt

Brittown on Hulu is a good watch. On any Sunday is epic. Not crappy bikes or times at all.

Motocrossed was a great movie.

Worst part of Supercross was having revenge of nerds guy playing a hardcore boss. All I could think about was Revenge of the Nerds. lol

Let's not also forget that "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is loosely based on Hunter covering the 1971 Mint 400 therefor making it an EPIC moto movie. ☺

From the Other Side by Rob Mitchell. Newer off-road/GNCC/Sprint Enduro focused film. Pretty darn good

I uploaded it to my youtube some months ago, it might be blocked in some countries due to copyright music though!

edit: I also really love the Terrafirma series, it's more freeride and random mx action shots, but got that sweet oldschool mx vibe!
