Best Deal?

Which bike looks like it'll be best long term? Any bike I buy I plan on tearing down the motor, inspecting it and replacing whatever needs addressed.

I would probably go with the yz just for the SSS

I'd go for the RM. Those are good bikes and that one looks relatively unmolested. I would avoid that YZ like the plague. Anyone retarded enough to powder coat parts like a kickstarter, probably made other poor decisions while reassembling. The KX looks clean, but they aren't a very good bike compared to the Suz and Yam. The CR doesn't look appealing, and they aren't very fast and the RC valve set up with the servo motor is retarded. Although the chassis is pretty good overall. I've owned all 4 of these bikes at one point or another.

Ya the RM looks like right of the show room floor. Or if you are looking for something with xrtas go with the KX

RM.

But i agree with MxKing809 that the YZ is probably the safe choice... cant beat the SSS stuff.

YZ or RM. I've had two bikes now with SSS and its awesome on the track. Crap in the bush without setup.

The RM or the YZ that 689 posted. OEM parts are cheaper on the YZ than the RM.

I'd go with the Yz. I'm partial to yamaha though.

I think I got a smoking deal on mine though. I bought it barely used for $3,500 and it's a 2013. I had to watch CL for about 6 months before finding that kind of deal though. And yes it came with title.

Couldn't go wrong with either the rm250 or the yz250, but I would talk the guy down a bit on the yz250 since its set up for freestyle. If It was my choice I would probably lean more toward the rm250, and I currently ride a yz250Wink
