I heard they were going to switch them out earlier this week. I hope Ben can find a way to get to the races.

Sounds like a raw deal; I really hope he can pick up something soon. Hopefully Rock River will at least get him to SD before kicking him to the curb...

According to Hill's interview on racer x rock river approached him. Not sure how anyone could be mad at Hill. Was he supposed to say no.

I understand the business side of this sport and everything, but it sure is a bummer to see the fastest Alaskan rider ever get kicked to the curb like this Sad

They probably knew he could bring some red bull money to cover his costs.

Mixed emotions about this whole thing. Happy for Josh....but bummed if we don't get to see Ben out there for the rest of the season.

Weird how they would let a rider like Ben go in the middle of the season like that. It must of been a week to week type agreement or something?

Either it was a weird contract deal or something fishy is going on.

Well that's pretty hard considering Josh is sponsored by Monster Energy...

Haha
Feel bad for Ben, but when you break it down, its a business, and this sounds like a business decision. Doesn't make it any better for Ben though.

Ben is a long ways from a quitter, and a little hard work is something he's never scared of. He's been a full privateer before, so I don't think you have to worry about him not being at the races. It might take a week for him to make it happen, but he lives in Texas now so it should buy him an extra day or so before Dallas to get something together.

I don't think we've even seen the start of what the Alaskan Assassin can do.

Ben has made 2 to Hills 1.

Bens qualifying times are not far or better than hills this year.

Ben has just struggled with starts this year much like Hill.

I think Ben will be okay in the long run, if he really needed the help. Unlike most riders, he has a whole state behind him.

If Monster was putting money towards his ride, he would have ended up on a PC 450. Monster is just a personal sponsor for Hill.

Josh Hill has made two mains as well this year.

Sounds pretty dicky and disloyal. Remember this when you go to buy something.

That's really too bad. Alaska is definitely behind him. Saw him at A2, positive as always. He qualifies really well, has good track speed, he just hasn't gotten good starts this year. He'll be back I'm sure.

It was good to see Ben Lamay back out there last night! Naked, stock, borrowed bike and all! Minus the LBeardsleyCPA.com sticker.
