That's awesome! Had to be cool to watch the hometown boy crush it like he did.

RV looked fast, that's for sure. Think the fat lady is warming up. With that said...can't wait for the outdoors.

Guess you did nt read vital, stewart was sick, lol., imo, if he wins the title in nj. He will be the 2nd best rider ever behind rc.

Cool to see him get a win in his home town, reminded me of when Larry Ward won up there in 1990??

Congrats to Ryan and his team!

RV, Thanks for the good time. It was so cool when you came over and parked right in front of us. If it was the last Seattle, you made it one for all of us to remember. Wasn’t hoping for a JS get off, just hoping he would have finished 4th so we could shoot a beer or 2. Good luck in NJ. Grandma Gramps will be there for the celebration. That beer….., we’ll have it later.

Congrats to RV,

But in my book, not even close to L Ward's underdog victory that year, The Kingdome was a shaking that night.

Were sending grandma and grandpa to NJ to see their grandson wrap up the title and see the other Villopoto family. Grandpa
and Grandma were both born in NJ and there will be plenty of family members at the race. Seattle was the best and was right'
there with his first win in 2009. I see you beat me to it Rand, for sure we will celebrate next week if all goes well,

I was at the Larry Ward race also, and for me the Seattle 2009 race when RV1 won his first race and beat JS7 for the win for
the first time, and listiening to that crowd and see Grandpa crying for joy that in MY book was my fondest Seattle moment.

I was one of those people that thought JS7 would win. I mean why would RV go for the win when the championship is wrapped up? James was riding his ass off, but couldn't catch RV for shit.
Ryan showed he has the heart of a fucking LION!!!
2ND BEST RIDER OF ALL TIME WITH MANY RACES LEFT IN HIS CAREER!

Long Live Villo-podium !

I too was at the Larry Ward race, good times too, Seattle is a a loyal place.

I meant combined sx/mx. imo rc top mx dude, mc top sx dude, but combined, rc, rv, mc, and the next 10 spots can be alot of riders.

Laughing You omitted a guy with with more SX wins than 2 of those riders, multiple big bike and small bike championships and a perfect 24-0 outdoor season... No surprise though LaughingWhistling

i go by titles, wins are great, alot of people win races, fewer win titles. and i would throw stewart and dungeya name in there. but after the 3 i listed, imo of course and dont forget the 80 s,90 s riders with titles .i wish everts rode sx because he wd be #3 on my list for outdoors. but sx who knows.

Fair enough, its certainly opinion based, after RC being at the top of coarse. There is definitely an argument to be made for RV at #2 though. Meaning I think he could or should be.

RV rode the wheels off that sucker.....I don't think he was taking it easy at all. After watching practice and the heats I almost picked Stewart as a shoe in on the win. He looked really good and super fast. RV seemed to pick it up a little in the main and made some good decisions on the bike setup. Great race.....but dang that track was gnarly!

I sort of agree, its just so difficult to tell for sure without them racing guys like RV, RC and JS every week. I wish Cairoli would come here for a season or two.

40 wins and 4 championships is a lot better than 50 wins and only 2 championships.

Thought you were trying to state his numbers are better which goes on around here everyday. Stew should have double those numbers if he stayed on Kawi and wasn't hurt so much.

Just a little shy of 72 wins and 7 championships.

Comparisons are all relative.

RV has nothing on the King.
