Anybody believe the Bates actually said to Weimer... "Since you NORMALLY crack under pressure... " Then she called Jake ..."Trey" and then she asked Dungey how is was racing against Trey, when Ryan and Jake were the only ones battling for first place.

Glad that Weimer shot back at her "I dont normally crack..."

I agree, my wife and I were watching that Lites show and can't believe how messed up she is as an announcer. She also pronounces motocross "MOTORcross" during the outdoors. Nose job, boob job...she needs a brain job.

It was a tabloid question at best. I can't believe some of you guys defend her over some faily large mistakes/tits. She cracked under preasure not Jake.

Tough crowd......
A mistake, or maybe not. She is at all the races, obviously loves racing, and knows her shizzle. IMO she is very professsional in an industry that is trying to catch up with the calendar. I hope we watch her grow old doing this. Would benefit the sport.

She has always come into the podium interview with some negative statement/question for the riders. This weekend it was just over the top, if I were on the box I would just ignore the questions and thank the sponsors and move on. Good job Jake, putting her in her place.

It really bothers me to hear this stuff. She was so nice when I asked to have a pic taken with her a few years ago and then last year she took one with my daughter. So she made a few mistakes, so what. Dont we all. Maybe she's being told to ask those questions. From what I read here she has alot on her mind. I just don't think she deserves to be bashed on a public forum like this.

Erin has been very gracious to the MX/SX community, but there comes a point where skills outweigh kindness. Her on-air interviews are frequently disjointed and rambling, and the "crack" comment to Weimer last night was probably a Freudian slip.

Jamie Little exemplifies the motorsport "sideline reporter", which is why she's in the big leagues today. Erin had the same opportunity presented to her, but she's yet to take full advantage of the situation. Some professional training and a little more pre-game homework might take her to that next level.

i think that you are a pretty centered guy jnd but it seems to me that she does some thinking on her own and that maybe she actually comes up with some of the things she says on her own, maybe? IMHO..

Maybe if anyone on the SX show reads this the show will get better even if some of the comments are off base.

I hear ya...raddad, no worries.

No doubt she is the one doing the talking and wording the questions but she is also wearing an earpiece with a producer talking into her ear while she is interviewing.
Not to mention the people, noise and general pandemonium that goes on after a race, it is hard to concentrate in the middle of that.

I'm not saying that there is no room for some improvement.
My point is that her job is a lot harder than most people can appreciate.
