Amongst the top guns, with the technic he has shown especially this year, he is I think with the Dungey the one that could succeed over a season. Maybe a year to adapt, but definitely a year to go for the title.
That would be so cool to see that. Not to take away riders from the AMA series, but we never know, for instance initially the talks with RV was because his knee needed more time to heal and so he would missed the SX season.
Maybe he also want to have a longer career, the AMA schedule is pretty tough on the body which usually makes the career shorter (well except Reed or Windham). Maybe a bit less money (with still good bonuses based on the SX in the winters plus the MEC, plus maybe some racing on some special events like Anaheim 1 and Daytona), but racing longer, like 5 years instead of 3 or 4. This factor should be part of the decision. I am sure some factory teams will call him when it is contract time.
I didn't like Justin Barcia in his 250 days but there is something different in the 2015 version of Barcia. He has matured a lot and i would LOVE to see him in the GPs for a season or two!
Barcia seems to love cycling as much as motocross and europe is awesome for both. I spent three years over there in the army and loved every minute of it. Good for Barcia...he wouldn't regret it as a life experience.
Never liked Barcia in his 250 days, he was just a punk back then. He seems to have matured and mellowed out alot, also noticed he seems to be enjoying Europe. I think he likes the more relaxed GP schedule to peruse his other interest of cycling, I think he would fit in well.
You're probably right...potential return for investment is far greater in SX, since Justin is a known quantity there. I just thought maybe Coy Gibbs might bend to Barcias wishes if he did well in 2016 in SX. Surely, JGR could benefit from some European marketing, especially if he did well there too.

Never happen...If he goes after the 18 season it would be on a different team.

Id personally love to see it . There's also the cost for a team to just be approved for entry into a full season of GPs which someone correct me if I'm wrong, is significantly more than entry fees for SX/MX here. So there's also that obstacle.
It's audio and it didnt work on my phone or tablet. It's a crock of shit anyhow. Who's next on the mxgeoff "so and so wants to race the GPs" list? Like we haven't heard this before. Hey Geoff!! All your guys want to race SX in America. Go report on that, because they actually mean it.
hahaha people crying but havent heard what he had to say ........... love this shit ...
typical Murica .......fock the rest , USA is the best
like its the first time Barcia told anybody he would love to come to Europe to race , he said it before
has got nothing to do with contracts or so , he didnt say he was planning of going in 2 months or so ... relax and take a morning after pill ....

Really surprised about this interview.

i'd love to see one fully committed and training testing with the same passion they've applied to the AMA series.
dungey, tomac, barcia, whatever- in a couple of years when they've had it with the us circuit, it'd be great to see another one take a crack at it.

Barcia just re-signed with JGR until 2018! Why in the world would anyone listen to what that guy says?

Jeez your shit gets old, reading your comments is almost as annoying as some of Geoff's stuff is sometimes.
