What do you chaps think of his performance at Utah and being a bit harder dirt... Ernee isn't too dissimilar.

Maybe the dirt isn't too different. But the track is a lot different. The last couple of weeks though he hasn't seemed as good as he had at Red Bud, Washougal, Millville. I personally don't think that Ernee is a track that will suit any of the 3 chosen for team USA, but we'll see

Barcias performances in the last couple motos has me concerned for sure. He got absolutely dropped yesterday. I hope he was just having an off day and goes back to his winning ways.

The way Barcia is riding now might get him a 5th @ Ernee. Martin will have to hit it out of the park , with Webb finding a way to not crash .

I was at the Utah race and was able to stand track side which was interesting to be able to hear the bikes (not just watch them) and while I've heard the talk that Barcia has smoothed out and rides a gear higher etc. It wasn't happening at Utah. He was banging it off the rev limiter like the Barcia of old.

Why be concerned, he is still the best available.

after all, finishing second to Australia is no shame..............

He needs to hit the trails and start riding some hard single track so that he is ready for that narrow French track. lol

The fact that he has his starts dialled is a huge plus point for him. If he can get 2 hole shots he'll be alright. I don't think he'll be able to charge through the field on this kind of terrain though. It doesn't really suit his riding style.

Elevation at Ernee: 426 feet
Elevation at Tooele: 5072 feet

Given his riding style I'm pretty sure that had something to do with it this weekend.

Very good point. That track is narrow. But it also has a rythm which I think will suit our riders. I think Team USA will be OK as long as there are no crashes...

Are they running the MXoN as a head to head bracket race, most BMX tracks are wider.

It doesnt look good when you start diving into the excuse grab bag already . They all have to ride the same track. One that RC, Windham, and Hot Sauce had no problem winning on. Its a world class track. It has plenty of places to pass.

justin was playing around with suspension the last 3 weeks to get that little more comfort to find that couple hundreds of a sec per lap on dungey. he wants that 1-1 badly. that throw him off a little this and last week end. nothing to panic about. he will have time to get some rest and some more testing if needed.

ernee is a technical track that needs some throttle control and bambam sure has that as you can see on his results in wet conditions.

What happened to Pourcel too? It's not really his type of track but I was surprised to see him get passed by guys that he's a lot faster than.

in a different class , which will proof nothing. let's not forget this is a team event and justin is the team leader this year which will come with more pressure and tasks to manage.

The fastest 3 riders have been picked IMO.
He could be faster than the 2015 Paulin on some days but then again he has a lot of bad days
