Thank God he saved this. There is nothing more embarrassing than looping out on the starting line and I speak from experience. I looped out on the gate back in my 80cc beginner days. I never made that mistake again. Smile

I think the problem started at the gate. Barcia got a late jump (compared to Dungey anyway), and from there I think he was just trying too hard to make up for it. 72 HP took over from there.

I don't think he or anyone else needs 72 hp.
More is not always better right? Especially if it can't be controlled..

Nonsense. Barcias teammate made perfectly good use of his 72 horsepower rocket. Barcia needs to man up or JGR needs to put some WR camshafts and flywheel in there for his scrawny ass.

Could that been something like not switching to "holeshot mode" on the mapping before the start?

It's him riding the bike. Why wouldn't he jus tell them to tune it down? What does JGR does make the motor a firing breathing dragon without any rider input? No that's stupid. What's the deal with his bike having 72hp? Stupid

Where was it said/written that Barcia's bike produces 72bhp?

Man your a Nostradamus aren't you? Tons of thought put into that post clearly. Dumb ass half thouht posts you should save your fingures on. The bike is good, Barcia is a good rider. Things haven't gelled quite yet. Look at Tomac last year or Canard for that matter. Until the KYB swap and more R&D, the red crew were struggling. Teams figure it out, riders figure it out, and sometimes you just have to face that some riders are better. Only Barcia knows.

It was mentioned here so it has to be true... But I do believe there's some validity to it.

Thanks. I can't see how anyone needs that much power in SX. Outdoors maybe.
My kx125's mid 30s bhp is more than enough. Couldn't imagine 72bhp!
