Well it was thought to be Redbull/KTM, but pulp brought up a good point about his gear issue.

Gear issue? Why would Alpinestars be an issue for KTM or Red Bull? The whole MX2 team in the GPs are with Astars.

Edit: Even the team apparel has Astars on it worldwide, like the T shirt and hoodie i got from my dealer a few weeks ago.

What's the gear issue? I'm almost positive the teams apparel is made by AStars, or at least has their logos on it.

What's so bad about Barcia? He's had a few injuries over the years. Yea, sometimes he's a squirrel on the track. He gets bagged on for riding a 450 like a 250. He was on that ill handling Yamapoo. Man, this list is long. Never mind.

Man there are a lot of Barcia haters. Did any of you read the Racer X article about Pastrana, Brown and Langston in 2001. They were banging, slamming and brake checking, sounds like Barcia would have fit right in. Either the riders have changed or some fans have became cry babies.

Barcia made his bed as a cocky, brat of a rider years ago on the 250 when he roosted medics & officials, and couldn't make a clean pass to save his life...then cried like a baby when others banged him around. He's got tons of talent, but has never found any level of consistency at all. It's either up front or also-ran. I doubt he'll get a top tier ride. But, what do I know?
