He just can't run that 450 up on the rev limiter and throw that bike around like he's use to...really crimped his riding style..

Maybe he would be better on the KTM350? what ya think?

Well that went down hill fast, no thanks to me and my glitchy phone. Sorry.
But I did comment last night about how he just doesn't seem right on that bike.

Man I'm a Yamaha guy, But Barcia and his YZ just dont look like they are anywhere close to being best friends.

There is something wrong with that Joe Gibbs Racing team or the bike. That being said, I think Barcia just needs a start to win or podium at very least. He gets buried in the pack and just cannot make up time on guys running the same lap times.

He over rides the 250 and under rides the 450..maybe forget the full blown race motor and go with a stock motor he can run to the limit..I don't know...we all know he can win races..seems he is intemedated by the 450..don't fit his style

I kinda feel bad for JGR...that's twice now that they have gone after a high paid rider and it's been a bust for them.

Of course now that I said that, Barcia will start kicking ass. ..Grinning

The problem was he wasnt running the same laptimes in the main. I had the timing on and Barcia was losing at least 1 second to the top 5 pretty much every lap.

All I know is peick seemed to be doing pretty well before he got hurt. The bike didn't seem to be holding him back at all.

Barcia is an awesome rider and doesn't deserve the ridicule. He's struggling with the same issues as his predecessors; the big YZ is squirrelly through the corners. Lean it over and front-end sticks like glue, back-end is on ice. Can't get the machine's ample power to the ground while leaned over. Peick's extra 40+lbs over Barcia seems to help keep the bike's rear end better planted while accelerating through the corners.

He is getting worse results than last year, does that mean that the honda is more of a beast than the Yammy? No it doesnt, it is NOT the bike. He needs more time on the bike, more confidence and better starts...and perhaps better 450 riding style.

I'm not saying its the Yamaha but he surely is not gelling with the bike. Barcia has alot of time left in his career and he will get it.
With that said the JGR Yamadogs bad track record keeps going on and on with the top riders. At some point something is gonna have to change with that hog, not Barcia. (except for some confidence).
