I paid $650 for my SE4 June last year. I see on the TLD site they only have small sizes.

Thanks for posting this! I just snagged the navy blue twilight. I already have the white one and it's a pretty stunning helmet in person. That price is too good to pass up.

A throw back to my old helmets. Plus now that my kids are grown up I don’t really even know if there any any cool new cartoons. I like Grimmy and Hagar comics in the papers. Here’s some of my old stuff

Those older helmets are pretty awesome. They're unusual and very different and that's why I like them. People at the track must ask you about it all the time. Not everyday you see a grown man with a cartoon helmet.

As for cartoons, well they aren't exactly like they used to be but I do enjoy American Dad, Bob's Burgers and Family Guy. The Simpson's are far from what they were years ago but some of the episodes are alright. I still prefer the older ones. There's also Archer that I enjoy from time to time. Other than those I don't know much about what cartoons are playing on TV. There's South Park but was never into it.

Is the 3rd one Pinky and the Brain? Awesome.

Yes Pinky and The Brain and 2 Stupid Dogs on the other side. The one with the Cowboy and REN and Stimpy farting in the horse trough is a take on the intro for the tv show Wild Wild West with the different scenes and the cowboy before the show starts. Tim Ferry back when he was using No Limit helmets told me at Dade City “that is a sweet helmet!”

Here’s the oldest one I have, I painted it probably 30 years ago

Dude, I have ONLY one horse in this race: Getting what I know to be the best over-all helmet to as many people as possible. What I'm saying is that this was my intention since I knew the price was on the TLD site.

As for the implied conflict between BTO and TLD? I think we know I'm pretty loyal to TLD & any brand that I know to be good for the sport on an extremely broad level...as Troy and his company...both...are. So, there IS a bias on that front...& I'm proud to own it...just as I know you are with Fly.

No offense intended. See you at A1.

There was no offense taken by me or JT$, I didn’t imply anything, I stated a fact of retailing.

It’s not a good practice for a manufacturer to undersell their retailers.

That being said it’s possible the better pricing had not hit BTOs website yet.

I tried one of these at Cycle Gear. Super-nice. I might pop for one. The website has colors but the guy at shop said only black or white is available. The way this thing fits your face is pretty cool. Ones with graphics are listed at $719 retail tho...ouch.

use a BTO 12% code on these & save.

I did a solid black one & sent it to KC designs to add my name & number for under what a color scheme is from shoei

its custom to you & cheaper than 715-730

The all-white was like $500-$540 at Cycle Gear. That's reasonable for a really nice lid. A custom job would be sweet. I am looking for MIPS, which makes sense to me, especially having been knocked out with what I felt was a pretty minor hit years ago. This Shoei has something similar called MEDS I think.

Happens often. Klim always marks down their non current on their website before releasing pricing to their retailers.
