I think I will try and purchase a 125 if the manufacturers make them again. If they don't, I think I will look for a 125 and try a little XC! Not a joke! Thought about it and thought about it, these $10k plus bikes are putting me and pretty much everyone else out in the cold. So I'm through preachin about the 4 strokes. They are still incredible bikes and I'd definately have one again. But the pocket book rules the sport at the moment. Bash on or congratulate, either way, have at it!

If you are riding a dirtbike and having fun, congratulations. I don't care what color it is, what size it is, or how many strokes it is. We all started riding for one reason, to have fun; and it's a shame when people forget about that.

Vital MX quote of the year...

This is pretty much the answer to all of the arguments everyone has had on Vital this year.

i aggree completely.

however. if we don't complain on how this sport has changed and what has changed we get what they decide.

today, i am very proud to be a part of the "opposition" to the way the folks have taken "my" sport to the edge of a very big hole.

if a guy like mx7mx xm can see what is the issue anyone can. I just got a sweet 2007 cr 125 for my kid. He just getting off an 85 Suz. He has adjusted to it well, he is riding and racing it with a great transition process in the works.

Companies need to realize its the way to go, and need to have a bike like that to utilize this. If they don't they will likely continue to lose riders like we have in this area because of cost, and all the rest.

Anyone bashing someone for riding a specific brand or stroke doesn't help anyone, hell i don't particurally like harleys but if a guy wants to ride one good for him.

well all stand together or we will fall apart.

Can we ban anyone who makes a 2 stroke vs 4 stroke thread? Maybe give the idiots their own forum so they can have a little circle jerk together.

Seriously, am I the only one who is completely sick of this or what?

I've heard people complain about the cost of bikes since long before 4-strokes came along. In the 2-stroke days people complained all the time.

I like your philosophy, but when I'm with my wife, 4 strokes is always way better then 2 strokes. And she says size does matter so how do I argue that with her? So I ride a 450..

I gave up riding 10 years ago when Katie started racing. Just recently realized it was some of the best times I ever had and bought an '03 CR 125 "just for fun" it's nothing compared to her $7500 race bike but it's all I need.

So basically all the shit you threw in the past about 4-strokes is bullshit? I really could care less what people ride but MX7MX has been THE most vocal supporter of 4-strokes all along.
