from Rodney barr.....

To my mx friends,We at Barrs Competition need your help.To those who of you that don't know of us my dad Bobby Barr has been one if not the best engine builder in the us with many championship ,With known riders like Damon Bradshaw,Ricky Carmicheal,Larry Ward, not going to mention all the rest, but as we all know times are hard now and business are struggling with the exception of the corprate ones.In that being said why not give the small guys a fighting chance again..I truly believe that not because he is my dad but he deserves it after 40 some years ,What would it hurt to try besides a famous sticker on your bike...Besides A BARRS sticker looks just as good ..

Bobby Barr has bought many bikes from me over the years and has always been helpful at the races with setup. He is awesome with 2strokes, builds a mean Yamaha PW50 for those mini dads out there.

IF your in the market for an engine build, Give Barrs competition located just outside Charlotte, North Carolina an opportunity

The webpage could use an update. I know it seems like a little thing, but to appeal to the larger audience (IE not local) it really helps. General prices/options for engine mods that are common would be a big plus. When I decided on Eric Gorr over RPMs for my CR125 playbike a while back I pretty much decided based on price and description of the web site since both had favorable reviews from most on the forums. My next project is a CR250 so maybe I'll check you guys out. The four strokes are plenty fast for guy like me, so I haven't done any engine mods and don't plan to.

I wanna say that Barrs did Larry Wards 88 YZ125 if my memory is correct. I do remember Larry saying in some magazine interview that that bike was his favorite of all time.

those Duck Dynasty guys have absolutely nothing on Bobby Barr.

You should consider having work done just to hear some of his stories.

Pretty sure I remember Chad Watts started out at Barr's when he was around 13. I didn't know they were still around, good to hear!
