At what age do you start to lose your "balance"?

38 years old been racing my whole life and still race with my 2 boys. I don't think its as much a balance issue as much as a confidence issue.

I raced A class until about 27 and noticed that I would think about 100 triples vs it just being automatic. I realized I better get that out of my head or back it down a notch.

My 15 year old started beating me last year and I felt like the old lion going out......but still have a great time riding with my boys!

A Question of Balance. Moody Blues said it the best. It is my opinion that processing skills are infuenced by vision, thus as vision wanes, balance becomes a question.......

Been riding unicycles since I was 13. Can still do it with a Budwieser in both hands, so at 51...Not yet.

I'm in my early 40's and hit the track once a week. Lately I've been noticing I'm popping out of ruts, getting off line, jumping to short or long more often. Even around the house clipping doorways or corners with my shoulders or toes. It's not a real big problem right now I'm just staring to notice it. Just wondering if your balance (or whatever you want to call it) is like eyesight with age?
I'm forty and I've always been clumsy as fuck. I haven't noticed any worsening of the clumsy. I still fall down a lot or trip/stumble/lose balance whatever you call it. This falling down shit is probably going to be a problem as I get into my 60's and 70's.

I'm 30 years old and have raced off and on since I was 4 years old. Sometimes I get in situations where I get dizzy, kind of scary really. Today I was just sitting on a bike on my stand when I thought I cought something out of the corner of my eye, when I turned my head I had a dizzy spell. If I look up sometimes I get really dizzy as well. I can think of a time about 3 years ago where i hit my noggin pretty good after grabbing a little too much brake, My dumb ass went back and rode the 2nd moto and did it again and ended up throwing up in my helmet. Think that was the beginning of my problems.

At 51 years my balance and endurance aren't a problem. The fear of a bad crash slows me down. So you become the surfer that goes out there on a longboard. Its about being out there and doing it.

When I was about 5 months old I'd try to sit up and just tip right over. That pretty much started it for me.
