Anyone care to interpret this?

"Ask your Suzuki dealer to dispose of the right front fork".

As in, swap for a springer front end??

Haha, that's one of the finer points of translating from Japanese. I think they meant "service" your fork.

As soon as I get home I'm checking my dads manual! That's great

Edit: yup, sure enough his says the same thing. I told him he might as well since the factory recommended it Wink

Should I use brake cleaner or no toil?
Should I have the dealer do the service?
Are 4 stroke rebuilds not bringing enough $$$ ?

That is just legalese for if you blow it up your own your own. Sort of like our not suppose to just throw away a lap top or car batteries.

I have a feeling the lawyers got involved with this one. They tell you the same thing with the shock. Since it is under high pressure if it were to be incinerated or crushed with pressure still in the chambers there is a potential for explosion as well as leakage of the oil inside.

On the older shocks that were nitrogen charged but did not have a fill valve there was a dimple on the shock body or reservoir telling you where to drill to bleed out the nitrogen pressure before you throw away the shock.

So you're supposed to clean and inspect the air filter, then replace it? Why not skip the clean and inspect part and just replace the damn thing. Can't have any dirty air filters in the garbage I suppose.
