This place is only about 45 minutes north of me. Kinda want to take a drive this weekend and see if it's legit. Not that I want it but I just find it hard to believe lol

why do people/dealerships put up listings without pictures? its so easy to just snap a few pictures.

Yeah, me too. I'm currently looking at houses and it drives me bananas when someone posts one for sale with no picure. It's most likely the biggest sale of their life and they can't take a few pictures?

Wont give it the time of day if the seller doesn't take the extra five minutes to post pictures

That's msrp, I would bet you if 3-4 grand walked in they would be all over it

Personally I would be all over this if I lived in the area!

Figured I would post it here so someone that loves their kawi smokers as much as I do can have a chance

3 NIB 07 CR250R's just sold for 7K, 7K, and 9K at Mecum. I don't see this price as being absurd. The new KX has to be more rare than the CR's. I mean 3 of them sold at the same auction...

Little hard to compare it to four stroke prices. The whole point is the two strokes haven't been produced in awhile. Never mind the YZs. People always want to argue they can buy an old smoker and fix it up. Sure you can. Not easy nor cheap. And it's still not new. I got a supply to last me awhile and cases of castor.

Like I said above that's the original msrp for the bike

What they would have asked in 2002 if it was a current model

Even in 2002 you probably would have payed less because who pays full msrp on a bike anyways

I would be absolutely floored if they turned down a 3000 dollar cash offer to get that thing out of the way so they can put something that won't take 15 years to sell in its place

Well if this truly is new, I think they would be better off auctioning it. This has to be one of the last, if not the last, brand new 02 KX250.

more rare in this condition maybe, but not has collectible, 07 was the last of the two stroke CR's, an 02 KX250 is not really anything special,

Thinking this bike is worth 5799 cash is just ONE part of your "financial setback" problems. Just saying...

Just curious.....I have a chance to buy one of these right now and it's in fantastic shape, all stock. It's actually one of Newmann's old bikes. What should I offer the guy?

I happen to be related to a young gentleman that has been buying up all the two strokes in Ohio, and, he's not interested. So, take that for what it's not.

I had two KX's, a 97 which I loved and a 2000. The later had a false neutral between 2nd and 3rd which bit my ass once really bad. I'm not sure if the 2002's had that remedied?

zillow.com. They have pictures for most properties, some more extensive than others. You can always get the satellite view with the imposed boundary lines. You do need the address though.

I would imagine the Kawi only has appeal to collectors. Would anybody buy it to ride it?

The 02 is the last model year of the "L" series.
They were pretty good bikes, but not many changes since 99 when the L series was released. Front fork update, clutch improved, power valve and the infamous twin spark are the main differences.
imo, not worth it.
