When JS was caught with unauthorised amphetamines he promised his fans he'd write his side of the story, to set the record straight once the appeals were over. We're still waiting for that, its 2 years late now. So don't expect to hear anything about the 2017 plans until late 2018 at the earliest.

Thanks guys for jumping in on this on, I have been a fan since day one of the Stewarts. They came close to losing me during the reality show tangent but I hung in. Mookie rode brilliantly to a 250SX title while James clearly struggled returning to form. Then Mookie forgoes the 2016 Nats, now total silence. Do they feel it's none of our business? We are the people, we are the fan base "we demand answers, we are entitled to answers, we feel offended!" Belly up Bitches!!!

This sounds lame, but the Stewart's have always been a very tight knit, very quiet & private bunch...at least it seems that way. I doubt seriously that we'll know anything about Malcolm's or James' team situation much before Christmas. I don't think they are being disrespectful to the fans, I just think that's the way they operate.

But seriously...how many riders have we seen in the past ride the rumor wagon almost all the way to the gate drop at A1 before they announced who they were riding for in the past?

There is nothing reality about reality. If you think in terms of you are the camera man, you will quickly realize how scripted it is. Its very cheap to produce a reality TV show. That's why they have been shoving it down our throats for the last 20 years. Think how much it costs to produce a cop show with car chases, lots of filming in the city, lots of people and a million extras vs, 10 guys mining gold in the middle of nowhere, or a house full of kids trying to get laid.

Yeah, you know...if I was the most hated man in motocross, I'd probably hole up and not tell anybody shit until I lined up at A1. Everybody acts like he owes them something.

"Most hated" might be a bit extreme. Love him or hate him dude is still one of our sports most popular figures. Just visit any pits when he is racing. One of the longest, if not the longest, autograph lines out of anybody else.
