I think it is for everyone.

I'd like to propose that the Vital forums goto their own server and the rest of the Vital site be on a separate server so the load from the forums doesn't bog down my checking out PitBits and such.

time to start charging a bit for this place. A little money going back into the company is always a good thing.

I'm guessing GuyB's media server and forum server are on the same server (or at least on the same limited bandwidth connection). Seems to have started about the time all the media from this weekend's supercross started getting uploaded. The combination of the uploading with all the people looking at the new pictures and video is bogging everything down. If the forums were on a separate network/server it wouldn't be a problem That's just me speculating however.

Like i said last night, when we get over 400 users on the board, it comes to a crawl, happened real bad last summer during the southwick race when Pourcel DNF'd the first moto. Last night was just as bad, right now its pretty close, and there is a little over 300 people online.

I think we need a bigger pipe.

I know this has been brought up a ton of times already , but you can count me in on wanting to pay a $30.00 a year to make this place better.

You could make the first rule this :

"if you get clicked.....you must re-pay the $30.00 to join back up."

Some guys on here would go broke trying to stay involved in this thread. There shouldn't a set limit on how many times someone could get clicked.....it does nothing but help pay to upgrade the site anyways.

I sent my computer's throttle-body to ProCircuit, it's better but Mitch says that to get the full effect I need the high intake exhaust bearings.

So you are the one hogging all GuyB's bandwidth! More than 4 of us measly 3 meg users could be leeching B's content for every one of you. Smile
