I was thinking of going...and have three pairs of passes. Now I just need to figure out how to give them away/who gets them.

Guy b Hook me up please. I was suppost to be going to help out my best buddy Jack Carpenter try and qualify in the 450 class. Then we got word last night that the AMA denied his entry....he got 8th in a moto there in 2008 and they deny him. Kinda messed up. Either way I had to tell my buddys I cant meet up with them on Saturday now

i'll be there, taking my mom up. she hasn't been there in about 10 years (since henry was the sole 4 stroke in the class) so i decided to forego taking my cbr 1k up and rock along in her camry thru the state.

i'm packin the walking sticks cause if she eats it climbing a hill i'm going to act like i never met her before haha

edit-
i'd also love to have the passes, now that i'm at the towering # of 7! posts, i'm clearly a valued member of this entrenched community.

I raced the first day of AM days ever in 92 (on pro track) then straight thru 2010 with only missing maybe one or two years without racing cause of injury or living in California prolly. Till this year 2011. Its just not the same now. The Fri and Sun program for amateurs blows. No fun. gotta stay hydrated and all if you want to actually do good. Cant have a good night of beer drinkin and bon fires with ur moto buddys anymore after your 2nd motos are over . Plus its now $120 for 1 vehicle and 1 person to pull in the gate for the AM weekend. Add your $40 a class entry (4 lap motos) and its to much for to little I think

yup......AM days went to shit when the pro's switched to saturdays.

ya Its a joke to how much fun I use to have. You would pull off after your second moto head straight to the truck crack a beer and enjoy the festivities. Great memories my whole childhood there. I'm 28 now so I use to be that little moto kid on the bmx bike raising hell with my fellow moto buddys. Jumping the fire on our bikes and the people would go nuts

I wish I wad going this year. Will be like the 2nd in like 10 years I haven't. Because I moved 1200 miles away.

haha Brandon noticed I threw in the words "use to be". I'm like a old man these days. I like to enjoy watching the chaos from a safe distance now. Away from the flying beer bottles and exploding propane tanks. In 2006 I watched from my truck a riot break out. It looked like Vietnam the next morning in the AM pits. In 2008 a security guards 4 wheeler got burnt down to the frame in front of my campsite and I didnt even know it happened till the morning when I got up and seen it

I'm not going. With the Unadilla national and Watkins Glen race going off on the same weekend Walmart should be empty. I'm going to stock up.

Sucks to here Jack didnt make the cut. I dont know him, but have seen him around locally. WNYMA and even the WNYOA Hare scramble series. Super fast, super smooth!
