And catch yourself standing there w a big goofy smile, full of excitement that you made it thru another week and so ready for some throttle therapy.. Music begins to play out of no where and you just stand there for a bit taking in the relief and joy? Or is it just me?

Yeah it's a must. If you don't admire the clean bike in the back of the truck on the way to shred ,you're not doing it right.

Funny as I was thinking the same thing....and it looks like it's mostly us 2 stroke guys. Tomorrow is my first ride back in 4 months and I finally will have a chance to test ride this 06' RM250 out. I have a feeling she's going to be setup really soft since the kid I bought it from weighed about 135lbs soaking wet.....but it should be fun either way.

Yeah man , I'm really glad I bought it. I haven't been on a 2 stroke since I sold my last KX 250 back in 2001. So it's been a long time since I've ridden something like this. Other buddies of mine who have bought an older ( or newer ) 2 stroke these past few years said that it was a great investment and they are having a bunch of fun on them. I figure it'll be a great play bike and make it so I don't put all my ride time on my Kawi 450. Something different to keep it interesting. Really looking forward to tomorrow with all the time I've had off from riding.

I've been out of town the past few weeks for work and it's killing me not being able to ride. I'm jealous of all you guys at the moment! My chick sent me this last night saying we're all waiting on you...

.... Start smiling now
You'll be able to put that rm anywhere

Very good stock susp (Showa)
- I used some spare RMZ springs that I had laying around, and a local guy did a revalve. Now it's dialed, just a click or so depending on which track Smile
Get some 110 and 927 for a bigger grin!! and some fresh ATF in the gear box....

Thanks but my plan is to keep this forever. But just look and jump when you find one, they go fast. I got mine for $3300 and it was for sale less than half an hour and the sellers phone hadn't stopped ringing.

Like looking in a weird mirror. I have a bumper for mine but got rear ended a while back and haven't put it back on after taking it off to bend it back.
