15 or so years ago they had a series in stadiums across America, pretty sure
Jimmy Holley was a champ at one time or another....(?) Think many events were televised
- possibly on the USA Network (?)
Anyway, just wondering if any of you ever attended, competed or had any recollections
of these bizarre competitions ? Pretty sure it was an all-out dirt show, with truck-classes,
buggies, quads and bikes all competing on a reconfigured stadium floor...
I do recall some wicked high-speed jumps for the bikes....
Yes, indeedy, how quickly I forget - wasn't Brooks on a Noleen Yamaha 360 ?
I coudn't find any YOUTUBE action - anybody got video ?
Scottie ?
The Shop
I tried to qualify for the Seattle one in 89&90.
In 89 Eric Hall had the fastest qually time in Seattle on a stock 89 RM125, then on the first lap of the main he went over his bars and wrecked his knee and it ended his racing career.
The Voland brothers & Manley raced alot of them also.
Some UltraCross action featuring (to the delight of some of you) a Larry Brooks yard sale crash!
Pit Row
also it was the Western Sizzlin/Noleen/Yamaha team Larry Brooks, L .Ward. and M.Craig. they did have a different track configuration, as so the trucks, bikes, quads and buggys could all race it.
And what if we still had this guy at the supercross races?

Went to um too.
They would race trucks and quads on same track, same night.
The Vohland brothers and Holley were the action that night.
The track was very fast for bikes as it was a primarily an offroad truck event.
