I'm sure someone have a 16 rmz.

But why, WHY would Suzuki upgrade 80 parts(Wasn't it about 80 parts?) and not upgrade the bodywork?! Changing the plastics is nothing, the amount of r&d money that would go to making new bodywork is nothing for a company like Suzuki. And upgrading the bodywork is a great way to promote a new bike.

I had one for three weeks. Tried to get the air fork dailed in but hated it. Everything else felt pretty good. 2nd gear was a little short but if I kept it I would have went up a tooth or two and it probably would have been able to carry 3rd in the corners. I had an opportunity to pick up a 16 YZ250F and sell my RMZ so I did it. VERY happy with the Yamie, best decision I've made in a longtime.

I rode my buddy's 14 and love the handling on it the plastics not being changed doesn't really bother me.

I have the yz right now but seeing all the frames cracking on them is making want to get rid of it. Also I like how the Suzuki handled better than my Yamaha.

I had 5 Suzukis over the years. Loved all of them but this 16 and I were not getting along. I couldn't get comfortable on it. My first Moto on the YZ I felt way more comfortable

I think the plastics look okay but the fact is that the marketing of the rmz 250 and 450 will be horrible as long as the plastics are 8 years old. And i know, the plastics will in 90% of the time not matter but it still is very hard to sell an "all new bike" that has the same old bodywork.

No, I was pulling the suspension off when I got the Yamaha deal. I got the YZ for $200. more then what I sold the Rmz for so I ended up saving $. The YZ suspension is awesome. Something to be said for oil and springs.

I believe the 80-something changes were to the engine alone.

The last three were 2 450s and a 250 smoker so it's hard to compare but I felt the power was good. Mostly a handling/suspension issue. I'm sure I would have figured it out eventually but I couldn't pass up the yz deal.

So true , I mainly want the bike because of how good it was handling when I rode it.

i just picked one up 2 weeks ago. rode ktms for the last 3 years but had trouble with my recent 350 dialing in the 4cs suspension. Went back to suzukis and definitely love the bike. Just sent out the suspension to factory connection.

As FIFIO stated, 2nd gear is short but could be easily changed by changing sprocket teeth.

Nice I'm going to my dealer tomorrow to check it out. Definitely sending mine out to factory connection. How do you like the new stock suspension btw?

I would have spent my money on the fork before the stickers and seat cover. But that's just me.

Graphics kit was ordered before I even had the bike. All my other RMs handled great so I figured a 16 could only be better...I was wrong. Like I said I was just getting ready to send the suspension out right before the YZ deal fell in my lap.
And what's the big deal if I throw some graphics on my bikes before I start boogering up the plastics. Haters love to hate.

coming from the junk 4cs, the stock suspension was great. definitely read up on the air fork and maintenance if you aren't familiar with them. anxious to get my stuff back from FC. rode a buddies '15 that had FC suspension and loved it.
