I usually just sit on the couch, focus my eyes, and ears to the TV. It seems to be working out pretty good.

Yep sorry.

You are 6 hours ahead of Eastern, 7 hours ahead of Central, 8 hours ahead of Mountain and 9 hours ahead of Pacific time.
