I found good deal on DID rear rim for my yz250 but the part number is for kx450f , some holes count 36.? Will that fit YZ250 ? I thinking that the difference is maybe just slightly different holes engle ?

Looks like you found a good deal for a kx450f rim.

I'm going to offer a differing opinion, I've built dozens of wheels for friends over the years. Mostly adding anodized Excels to new bikes. My fee was always I keep the stockers, as long as they were 36 hole I never noticed any difference. The only thing that would change the angle of the dimples would be hub size or width and I think that's pretty standard anymore. I know they have different part numbers but I've never noticed any discernible difference, I had stacks of rims at one point that I wasn't even sure what brand they were off of but I didn't buy a rim for a good 20 years.

I used a KX rim and spokes on a YZ with no problems. It should work with no issues.

When I worked at a shop back in 08-12 all the excels said kx/kxf/yz/yzf/rm/rmz. Don't know about now, but that's what they said back then
