I think my clutch is fried! I tried adjusting the cable but no results. While the bike is on the stand, I place it on gear with the clutch fully depressed and the rear tire continues to spin as I rev it up. The clutch is not fully dissengaging. Not sure whats going on but adjusting the cable didn't help. Any ideas?

Clutch arrived otay along with the power valve shaft. The springs had cut a groove on the shaft. When the powervalve was open, the sprigs hesitated to rotate because they were in the grove and were not moving freely. I changed this parts and now the bike is 100% ready! I also installed some UFO frame guards to protect the frame. On craigslist already to see how much I can get!

Notice the lined on the shaft on top. They are actually deep groves where the springs were getting stuck.

Some lucky guy will get to enjoy this baby!

So the bike is all apart and this is what I found out. The piston hit the top of the exhaust port and broke the ring. The piston messed up the sleeve so now comes the debate on how to proceed. Should I fix this one or should I get a new jug? Heck, I might go with a big bore kit. We'll see, I have to do some research. The rod has a little of play side to side but its not too much and if I remember correct, it should have a little. Anybody can verify this?

^ I did, tha article discurage me from doing a 144 kit. Once I learned about splitting the cases I went with a 56mm bore. Later I saw a video of a guy ussing play doh to cover the cranck and grinding the case without splitting them but it was too late then. I am pretty happy with the results.
