Some of you know the pride of Canadian womans motocross, Ami Houde, daughter of former Honda factory rider and 125 National champ Kim Houde. Ami is all over the place these days and she just signed on with La Rouge Bikinis so I guess all you perves will get see a lot more of her! Congrats on the new deal Ami!

Great family too. We see them every year at the Millville National.

Ami was at the sign up window with a cast on one year trying to decide if she wanted to ride am day, or the next..

Nice, fast and easy on the eyes.

Pride is a very generous description. Although she is a nice girl, knows how to market herself VERY well and loves attraction.
As the saying goes, "when the gate drops, the bullshit stops".
I have never seen her race a Women's Canadian National or WMX.
Pretty girl yes, motocross enthusiast yes, racer? Questionable.
Hopefully she can prove me wrong and we will actually see her "professionally" race this year.

What ever happened to those two lesbian chicks that were looking for sponsorship to help them take over the WMX scene?

Did they make it or did they get jobs working for Spice Network?

Dude, lighten up already. As a Canadian, I'm proud of ANYONE who can ride and race and do as well as Ami (and her father for that matter) has. She's the only female racer I've ever seen from Canada that has marketed herself well enough to be recognized wherever she goes and makes some money along the way......which is why I started this thread in the first place.

Good on her.

I love the part where you put "racer? Questionable." Let's anyone who knows Ami know exactly how clueless you actually are in regards to her. I'd be willing to bet that girl has put in more moto's in her life than 80% of the folks on this board. This girl and her family are Moto to the core.

I can tell you off the top of my head that she finished 3rd in what I believe was her first ever Women's pro moto in Calgary in 2007, why do I know that because I can recall just how excited her Mom was while trying to get results from the pits of a race in Manitoba while Kim was on the track racing here.

Is she going to come down south and run at the top of the WMX, nope not likely. But she will remain competitive locally while earning a College degree and holding down a few jobs including teaching a large contingent of 50 and 65 riders around this area.

Funny story. I play bass in a bar band here in Winnipeg and I try to race the best ican. One night after a gig, the wife drops the van and trailer off at the bar after my gig,i then drive approx 2 hours to the track getting there by 4:00 am. 6:00 get up for sign in and ready for the race day. Some little 13 something year old and one of her chicky friends is parked next to me in the pits and is blowing the horn in her dads van every two minutes. Gues who.....
A couple of years ago, I'm playing at alive in the district, here in Winnipeg of course, she jumps on stage and says " I heard you used to race, im ami," I was like " yeah, I know who you are" . She,s come a long way from then. And yes she defiantly races, seen her in lots of arena crosses too. Man I sound like I feel........

You are so far off base on your assumptions of my post I wont bother explaining because you wont get it. I will say that I have been involved in MX in Canada since 1973 and I've seen them all come and go. I watched as Canadian women motocrossers slowly work their way into the limelight, including Heidi, Shelby and Denaye. Thanks for trying to turn a positive thread into a negative one.

In the first photo the lighting is terrible makes her look like she is missing front teeth. I can't imagine she likes that photo.
