Blaze me all you want, I don't have near the amount of bench racing knowledge some of you have.

Just wondering, aside from the more recent guys ( Paul Carpenter, Josh Demuth, Bobby Kinerey, Nick Wey ) who are some of the more well known American guys who have raced a few rounds or the whole series of our Nationals?

I know guys like Jake Weimer, Justin Keeney, Ryan Sipes and Broc Tickle( ??? ) have been up here. Who else, in the past 8 - 10 years has been up here?

Huffman did win a title though, I remember him riding down here at Piru MX on a #1 Blackfoot Honda.

Huffman did not win the title... finished 2nd to JSR both years he came up.
You can also add Shane Lusk, Nick Evennou, Randy Valade, Chris Wheeler, Turbo Reif, Tiger Lacey, Kris Keefer, Mike Sleeter, Sean Borkenhagen, Kyle Partridge... Can't think of more right now but I'm sure there are plenty more...

That was just a set of John Roy's #'s on his practice bike, the team would build the riders practice bikes up with some nice left over parts from their race bikes from the season before. At the end of the season Damon would return his bikes and they would look almost like they were never usedWinkWhistling . I was working for blackfoot at the time and met him on a bunch of occasions, really nice guy. Although very fast and smooth, Huffdady was not fast enough to beat the mighty JSR, even though Damon was on a CRF 450 and JSR on a 250 smokerSillySilly

Wow....man , you guys forgot two local NW guys who won championships up there. Of course it's been a while since they were there....but Jay Whipple and Brad Hagseth. I know Ryan Huffman ran a few I believe . Also , Adam Metzler and Miles Warren did a few races up there. I also have a friend of mine named Trevor Brooks who lives right down the street from me , and he did a lot of rounds up north over the years. He had a super bad wreck up there where he swapped out and high sided down a big down hill....and the Canadian MX show , showed that wreck in their highlights for a couple years.
