Why they no make it for me? I wanna sport some A-stars when I am chokin the chicken on the old MTB pounding out miles on the pavement.

Sidi. While I have never owned a pair of the boots, I've been rocking their MTB shoes for over 15 years now.

I have had two pairs of SIDI and they are awesome but I wear A-stars for mx. I am spoiled and I want A-star MTB shoes! LOL

I wear Sidi road shoes on my Allez, but in 13 years of mountain biking i've never, ever felt comfortable riding clipped in the dirt.

I reckon my Epic must be one of the only examples sporting platform pedals!

Have you tried the kind of pedals that have a clip on one side and flip over to have cleats on the other? I use Shimano (I think) and that was I have the option of being clipped in for climbs and not clipped in for descents.

Yeah i used to run Shimano DX Spd platforms, they were ok but much prefer my DMR V12s

I can get sketchy at speed on the mtb and a quick dab is way preferrable to decking it cause i couldn't get clipped out in time lol
