He was "hyped" as the greatest thing that has ever hit the MX scene
Year after year of, embarrassment from either his own actions or his family
Never finishing a season that was expected of him
Basically, ten years of hard work with not much to show (as in championships)

So he wins a heat race, something he's never been able to do. Granted, it was gifted to him (RV did stall and later crashed)

An emotional break down is to be expected, I'm all good with it.
Mikey has grown and matured in these ten years and I'll be the first one to say I am damn proud of him and wish him nothing but the best this season.

no kidding. They guy went from the top,, to a joke with the hype thing, got his ass handed to him for years. He made changes and kept pushing year ater year.

It was nice to see MA800 do good and like you mentioned, it was good to see him soldier on in the main after that SNAFU and finish 12th. IMO, he left it all on the table tonight and should be satisfied w/ his race tonight. I think we'll see more of him in the top 10 this season.

Good for him, but it was rather pathetic. I could understand if he won the MAIN EVENT... LOL.

Heat race, really? Hmm. Well. Ok. Honestly I didnt mind it so much but it was HILARIOUS when he stuck it in the gate in the main. I even had a premonition he would do exactly that.

Seems like any time he wins he has to block the shit out of someone to do it.
