I don't know that it's Tony. At least not single handedly. Mike tried ditching dad for a year and didn't have very good results. I think what we're seeing is Alessi is having the first full MX season in a couple of years and you don't beat a guy like Dungey in your first full year back in awhile. Alessi is progressing and has been able to keep Dungey closer throughout the motos lately. He just needs to keep focused on progressing and forget about Dungey. Mikey was also the only other rider besides Dungey, on the 450's and 250's to go under 2:00. He had a bad suspension set up moto 2.
