Just read this on Racerhead...should make things pretty interesting next year..

"And Aldon Baker isn’t going to train all the KTM riders next year, after some talk. What I do think is going to happen is he’s going to sign Ryan Dungey up under his program to go with Kenny Roczen and Adam Cianciarulo."

Geez....what the heck is wrong with Ryan's training right now? The dude is an ironman out there! Should be an interesting story to follow for sure.

Being a fan of don't fix what ain't broke, I sure don't see what anyone could offer Dungey that he doesn't already have. Aldon must have some dang good sales skills on top of his training program.

Without a doubt, RD is one of the most fit guys out there. The ONLY thing I think anyone could be able to add would be on the mental side, not the physical side. No disrespect intended, but RD has never had that killer instinct, while most of Aldon's riders(RV, KR, JS, RC) have/had that mental edge/killer instinct. I'm not sure it's anything to do with Aldon or not. Does anyone know if he does mental training in addition to the physical training? If not, this move makes no sense, as Dungey is as physically fit as they come.

Ok I was confused. Stewy worked with Aldon after RC and then when they were done RV snagged him and has dominated ever since.

I think Dunge is all about hard work and determination. Could be a good change for him.

Dunge doesn't lack fitness, he lacks that "pitbull off the leash" ability to sprint to the front on the first lap and keep it there. Although Unadilla was promising....

Anyone who doesnt think Aldon brings "something" to his program is crazy, his resume speaks for itself. Maybe it is that extra ingredient, no matter how small it is, that brings Dunge that "fire" early in the motos.

Maybe RD is smart enough to see the improvements KR has made training one season with Aldon, and decided he had to get prepared earlier/better in the season to stay ahead next year...

Ahhh. So maybe it is true. Logistically is all makes sense. Not to keep quoting the podcasts, but they said the land Aldon bought was right by the RV compound.
