After timing third in his last ride at A1 behind Stroupe and Regal, Jimmy stuck his leg down for a turn and hyper extended his knee sideways, basically the bars never hit the ground. The flagmen came over an helped him straighten the bike and let him go only to have Jimmy be in so much pain, fell over as his leg couldn't support his weight. We initially thought it was a broken tib/fib and a ride in the ambulance to the local hospital confirmed it was the ACL/knee. Jimmy's heading home to Missouri to get it repaired asap and Gregg's staying out here looking for work, anybody need a great mechanic. Albee will be ready for Hangtown!!

Yeah it was a really weird crash too. One of those that feels like it happens for no reason and probably caught him off guard. It happened on that double after the finish line.

I hope to see ya back soon bud

I bet Albertson might kind of wish he would have taken that KTM ride so maybe this wouldn't have happened. He might have been able to still make a little money this way. I can't figure out why he decided to ride the 450 with as deep as the field is he hasn't ever been able to finish a supercross season. If I were him I'd take whatever ride I could for SX and try and make it through a 250 season and maybe go 450 outdoors and just get a solid season in before jumping into 450 SX.

Wrong.

Regal did the same thing. He passed on a ride he was unhappy with, went on his own for a season (while some idiots in the pits and on here threw him under the bus), and then signed a deal with the #1 Yamaha team.

Jimmy had an accident and got hurt. That is what happens in this sport. He will be ready to show his speed in the Nationals. And will have a good shot at signing a good deal for 2012.

You are on crack there is no way in hell he would have been in the top 10. I'm just being realistic here. He should take whatever paycheck he can get.

Fuck Off Crusher. You don't know DICK about the situation. Go judge somebody else's life you don't have a clue about. I read through your posts on your bio page and you seem to be a Fuckin authority on everything, and a negative prick as well. One of Jimmy's times where the AMA breaks the track down in sections, he was 6th fastest. This was in his first debut on a 450 with less than a couple weeks to put together an effort.

You must have missed 2 years ago in the outdoors...maybe the time that he lead JS7 for 3/4 of a lap?

Why don't you worry about yourself and your check, and not his!

I never said he wan't a good outdoor rider but if he has a ride for SX he should take it. From what I know of the Albertson's growing up racing around them they aren't the kind of folks that they put the show on for. They sneak into local tracks without permission and I've seen several instances of poor sportsmanship out of them. I was just givin my opinion and I know its the same opinion of several of my buddies as well. He's not getting any younger and prone to injury. Take what you can get.

What does his family have to do with your comment about riding a 250?

crusher773...if you grew up racing against the Albertson brothers...then you know the driving force behind that families racing was their dad, Brian. I have known the family for over 15 years...raced with them...and NO ONE knows the sport of MX better than Brian. None of the Albertsons have EVER displayed one iota of "unsportsmanlike" conduct. You, and your buddies are simply wrong.
