AZ peeps

Thats GM's old proving grounds, had a few friends that worked out there testing cars in the early 80's.

I am a native of Phoenix and a lot of car manufacturers have their desert test facilities located in AZ, I know Ford and Audi had them there as well as GM. It was cool you could see a lot of the next gen models all camoflaged and being tested on the freeways as well!

My house is on what used to be those empty lots across the street from that building.

GM proving grounds is correct.....they have pretty much demo'd most of the building and road surfaces over the past few months....going to become houses and shopping malls....the big apple building WAS originally going to be a solar production plant....but the wheels fell off it.... THANKS OBAMA !!

Growing up that literally used to be in the Middle of nowhere, We dove hunted out there and road out dirt bikes too.

I think they moved that GM testing to Yuma

Uhaul has a big testing place here as well as Ford and Dodge did too, not sure if they still do, I see some experimental cars going up and down the mountains between here and Payson also Flagstaff.

Anytime I fly west I'm glued to the window. There are a number of interesting sites seen from above. Figured they were test tracks for someone.

those are crop circles with no known origin..very strange indeed.
