The reason he SHOULD take it is 2 fold. He is THE next dominant rider. And because there is nobody even close to his stature as a racer coming up behind him. If he doesn't take it some one will who has no business doing so.

He should take it.

Stewart was 19 when he took on RC. RC was in his very prime, 25 years old. Stewart was better in SX, but that`s it.

I do however agree with you. No one could dethrone RC. He would`ve found a way to beat anyone. Guy was a freak.

Agree, no way RV would have dethroned RC. Let's not be a silly Sloan. RC hated losing more than anyone. If RV took a moto, RC would demolish him the next moto just to prove a point. He was a machine.
