A1, who's your pick?

12/17/2014 4:11pm Edited Date/Time 12/18/2014 10:01pm
This field is STACKED, and I honestly keep forgetting who is even racing. I feel like it's going to be a Roczen/Canard/Tomac year. We all know how crazy A1 can be, whose your pick? I'm sticking with Kenny, but I wouldn't mind seeing Anderson up there in the mix.

Has anyone heard anything about Stewart? Is he racing?

Canard for the win, regarding Stewart I heard a rumor that he might not be racing A1.

It's a four man race.

Canard, Dungey, Roczen, Tomac.

Not necessarily in that order.

IMO, Dungeys going to have trouble from now on. He may be consistent, but I think he's going to get bumped around by the young guns. I like the guy, it's just frustrating to see him be so nice out there.

I'm gonna say Andrew Short since none of the favorites seem to ever win A1.

Either Stewart or RV, for sure.

I heard it from a reliable source that can predict the future. They post on Vital all the time but don't want anyone to know about their psychic abilities. But 100% guaranteed it will be one of those 2 riders.....

But in reality, Roczen and Canard will be the most consistent (I know Canard is not known for that, but this year for sure says the reliable source...). Millsaps, Dungey, and Tomac will be there strong on occasion but not as consistent as 94 and 41.

It seems many of you continually overlook Millsaps' ability on a dirt scooter. Take a look in the vault.

He may get overlooked, but it's difficult to overlook the other guys too. I don't think many of us would be surprised if he or any of the other top 5 prospects were to win A1.

If I had to put money on who would win A1, I'd select Canard. He's due for a full season and some good luck.

I also want to see Dungey and Tomac have a hell of a season.

I think Trey is gonna be the one setting the pace early in the season... He almost always starts well

I think Millsaps will be in the hunt for the win. He started really strong two years ago and i think he's got just as much to prove after a year off. Reed is the Dark horse pic from me and Wil Hahn for the long shot.

Canard for sure... did you see him at the MEC???

Oh wait, Millsaps for sure. Dude is strong.

Wait, no ... Tomac is railing.

I mean, Roczen really is just faster than all those guys.

But if Reed gets a start....

Dungey, Barcia.... holy heck, it's going to be tough to get into the top 5!

I'm looking forward to seeing how Dean Wilson does. I think he and Anderson will be close to the top of the time sheets in qualifying

No doubt they'll be good in qualifying, but Wilson hasn't shown that he has much for a 20 lap main event. From what I hear though, he's been working on it. I'll believe it when I see it.

Anderson and Reed would be some dark horse surprises to see at the front. Not because they aren't capable, but we just haven't seen Reed's capabilities in a couple of years and Anderson hasn't been on a big bike previously.

On a side note, it does seem like more and more riders are taking a more calculated approach to racing the last few years. Just two or three years ago, guys with trainers were somewhat rare. Not extremely, but they're really prevalent now.

I would never not say he would not podium again next season...perhaps even capable of a win or two if he remains healthy and he is comfortable on the bike
