I mentioned that link on another post, sorry, did'nt see yours.

The still photo above is strange in the sense that I have never seen anybody crash this way, at that place, although we have the same corner every year for 20 years...

Sebastien was creative in his crashes as much as in his lines ! Tongue

It was also cool seeing Ping be the first to go 3-3 through the one section. The problem was Ping would have to go wide in the corner before to do it and I knew that's how DV was going to get him and he did.

That was a huge section too. That first triple was BIG.

Gotta to be said that Ping had won all the races until that one during the three days. The dude was hauling ass as well!

people tend to forget just how fast DV was. literally 1 injury, and the face of SX could have been different. This is one of the few guys that can say they ran down RC and beat him straight up. And im not talking about RC's first year on 250's where he was all over the place, im talking after RC had things figured out indoors, dethrowned MC, and DV had him covered until the photoshoot shoulder injury.

He not only straight up beat RC but he straight up beat MC with MC at his best as well.. DV was the real deal. It was super cool having him around here but like normal it never lasts.

let's not forget that DV got spotted a 20 point lead that season when Carmichael broke his hand, his face and his visor and KO'ed himself out of Rd1 and limped to round 5 with steadily improving results when he finally got a win.

No way RC was gonna catch DV at A1 that season and sure Laroccos pressure made Ricky panic in to that crash but puh'leese.

RC was already showing his strength over a season when DV got hurt so let's not give DV that years title.....depsite the fact that when DV zapped him in the last turn that one night those were a critical 3 points.

....Le Cobra has alot of respect for Ricky and knows first hand how hard it is to put it all together to get that big 'ol numero uno on your bike.

I beleive every race and series is straight up. So not sure how DV's mid season injury always seems to matter more than RC's round one injury?

If you are gonna get hurt, het hurt early so you can show heart and determination by racing with broken bones in your hand and a concussion with no midweek practice (or late enough to limp it in)

Jus sayin'
