Been trying to get this ready to ride on and finally got to turn a few laps last weekend. Still needs some tweaking, and next year I'll add in a couple jumps, just trying to keep it as natural as I can.
Edit: I need to shrink the pics a bit as they are almost 3 MB

Don't have a shot of the rear section, but it's just over a mile long and there lots of off cambers. Still need to get a chisel plow on it to bring the clay up and bury some of the grass/sod.

Looks like a blast! My buddy did that same type of thing and it was the most fun I have had riding. Few weeks later he started adding jumps and ruined the natural flow it had. Looks like you are about 4 hours from me Whistling

Incredible.

I would kill to have that in my back yard or close enough that could simply jump on my bike and ride to any time I wanted.

Looks awesome and I would think twice about adding jumps. Do you have to mow all of that?

Yea, I mow it, and another 20 or so acres. I grew up on this farm, and my dad would never let me build a track, even though we owned a construction company. All that equipment and not allowed to touch it. Well mom and dad built a new house and we bought the farm, so to speak, so now I have my track. Only took 40 years.

That is awesome! Your going to get beautiful ruts in those corners! You need us to come help ride it in.

Nice. Really nice. My 1969 Pursang would love that track. My 1978 Red Rocket would love that track. My 1954 body would love that track. Good on you!

Now I have to get that 1983 YZ250 that was given to me rebuilt. Motor's locked up, but all the bearings are tight, and the frame is straight. Just needs a good going through. I think this track is fitting of that year vintage machine.

I grew up on a 10 acre almond orchard so I couldn't have a track for obvious reasons but once a year my dad would disc so I had a track for about 2 weeks before he ripped and packed it again and I had to wait another 50 weeks. The dirt was so much different than the worn out soil most of our tracks had. Will you adopt me?
