I need to source some bushings & seals for my buddy's Showa 49mm A-Kit spring fork. Who is the best source for these parts on the west coast?

Does SKF make a replacement seal for the 49mm A-Kit spring fork? (If so, where do you source them?)

I plan to call Pro Circuit and/or RG3 on Monday.

Thanks.

They are the same as all 49mm Showa forks. So ''96 RM conventional or '16 TAC are all the same as A kit. You'll pay 2-3x the price buying from PC.

It depends what you need. I can get most things, but Showa is the hardest to source for. If I needed to replace something like the back up ring on the works base valve piston, then I'd need to go to PC or FC and pay the mark up because that's something a production fork doesn't have.

So these would be what would be needed for 49mm A-Kit forks? Rode the bike 3 times in the past 3 1/2 years since getting suspension serviced at PC...and now leaky fork seal :-(....I just need to ride it more.

Yup, when pr2 did my pro circuit a kit that's what they used was rm parts. I needed a fork tube since it had a dent and he got an rm one and got it coated gold. I just got my forks serviced last year as I had a leaking seal too. fluid, seals, dust wiper, inner and outer bushings with labor. $190

Just curious - what did it cost you to buy the new RM lower tubes + cost of coating? You can PM me if not comfortable sharing pricing info on here.

Thanks, I had a feeling they might be the same seals.

To be honest I have no idea anymore, that was about 10 years ago they did it and I no longer have the slip. I got a bunch of stuff all done at once. I don't remember it being crazy priced or anything though. I only paid $1300 for the A-kit forks and shock and its now on my 05 KX125 I redid so I didn't have much money into it I didn't think.
