98 rm250 owned by Ama pro rider Tom Welch

Hi I am looking for some old photos of his 1998 rm250. I am doing a build on his old bike he raced back then. Here are some photos of it. And can some one tell me if this crank looks right? Does not to me or someone grind down to free up some weight???? Please if anyone has any photos or parts,graphics, suspension etc... Thank you.

The crank looks like it laid around and got covered in rust so someone hit it with a grinder quick to remove the rust.

Excuse my polar bear pajamas I been sick as a dog. But I think I am going to get a new crank. I would say someone did not know what they where doing lol

Almost looks like MPS has gotten into engine work, that grinding style looks suspiciously familiar.

It's a Hot Rods so they probably had to use the grinder to get it to fit correctly...
