Any opinions? It's cheap and available.

I loved mine back in the day. Great motor and passable suspension.

Dude totally, I plan on getting a 83-96 and restoring it, the motors were incredible especially with some engine work and with some research and clever engineering (check thumper talk) there are numerous threads on how to put a modern 02 and up Showa Twin Chamber fork setup on the bikes which makes them REALLY good.

I loved my '94...so much so that I dug the old bike out of my dads back yard and brought it home for a future restoration project (it now has a spot in the corner of my garage).

Everyone raves about the '93 250's (mostly because of McGrath using the chassis through 96 or whatever), but I liked the 94 better, the motor was bullet proof and had great power.

Not sure how to post pics. I'll figure it out soon. The bike is a 94,original owner. Has black and white plastic. But also came with a full set of original plastic. Paid 1000 bucks. Has brand new front and rear tire. Thought it was a deal I couldn't pass on.

Quite reasonable for a bike that runs in canada. What part of the country are you?

I'm in southern British Columbia. Have a lot of great single track and a half dozen moto tracks. The bush riding is amazing here.

Yep we need pics. These bikes are some of the best 2-strokes you can buy, plus most of the parts from 93-97 are interchangeable. The 95 had slightly different side plates and a 19" rear wheel, but I think the frame on the 94-96 were pretty much the same. You made a good buy IMO

I am in West Kelowna. So far the honda seems great. Burned around a gravel pit for a couple hours. I have an 09 Husaberg 570 but I couldn't pass up the Honda for a thousand bucks.

She looks a little tired. Probably have to spend some money freshening up bearings, linkage exc.

Just a guess though. Looks like a if it isn't actually broken, don't fix it bike.

It came with the original plastics and even the original seat cover. I figured for a grand some fun can and will be happening with the old 94 250 2 smoker.

Thanks Juss. Feeling a little unwelcome here. Does anyone think this was a bad deal.? 1000 bucks doesn't get a guy much these days.

I think you made a good deal. Believe it or not, 2-stroke technology hasn't changed that much since these CRs. The main change has been to the frame. The motors we're some of the best and clean running motors Honda ever built. These bikes are still competitive.

94 is pretty much the same as the 93, I had a 93 and loved that thing! Good score.

But, was it a good deal at $1000, guys?

Sheesh. If you feel like you got a good deal, that's all that matters.

Any functional, not beat to snot motorcycle is worth $1000 bucks at least, let alone a great model like a 94 cr250.
