I can't find any, ANYWHERE. Every site that I go to only sells 1 1/8 clamps. Why is this such a burden to find, I feel like this should be something every store should have plenty of. Plenty of 1 1/8, no 7/8. I bought 7/8 handlebars only to realize I have 1 1/8 clamps. If someone can please find me some that aren't expensive, and preferably silver or black, please do. Post the link. Thanks. Oh and 2 day shipping so I can ride this weekend.Dizzy

Edit: This is for a 98 YZ125 with aftermarket bar clamp setup. And maybe I should've said "BAR MOUNTS" not the clamp assembly itself.

Some places seem to call them risers, clamps, mounts, idk wtf to call them but the 2 metal MOUNTS on top of the assembly is what I need

What brand is the aftermarket clamps you have on the bike? Start there.

Meh, no idea. I bought the bike about 4 months ago. Doesn't have any brand markings on it anywhere.

Not to sound like a jerk but have you thought about upgrading to a 1 1/8 bar? If it's flex or crossbar, I'm sure there's something you can find. If the struggle is finding bar clamps and not bars, maybe change your focus.

Just a thought.

I would love to do that, but sadly I've already spend $75 on Renthal 7/8 because that's what it said would fit my bike but I didn't realize I had aftermarket clamps. So when I went to install them of course they wouldn't fit....soooo I don't want to fork out $100+ on 1 1/8 bars and have a useless 7/8 laying in my garage

Considering you don't know the clamp brand, so there's a possibility of other bar mounts not working, the easiest route would be to return the 7/8 bars and purchase a set of 1 1/8.

The used ones can be cleaned super easy.
I'm not sure why these wouldn't fit. Maybe just find someone who accepts returns and might need to try a few.

Why not used? it seems like your looking to save money, a set of NEW clamps is gonna be anywhere between 50-100 bucks, at that point just buy fatbars. Used is the way to go, I mean it is a '98 YZ125..

Don't worry Bro, I got ya !!!

First ya do these. That'll get ya from 7/8" to 1".

Then you do these. That will bring the 1" up to the 1-1/8" of your clamps....

And you are ready to shred for about 17 bucks !!!!!

Just get the right bars. Once you figure out what brand clamp you have I'm willing to bet it's going to be around $60 or more once you get them shipped. eBay the bars you purchased and take the loss as a learning experience.

Exactly what I'm doing. Might as well just get the oversized bars instead of spending $60 on the right clamps. Tongue

BRP offers an adapter to run 7/8" bars in 1 1/8" clamps for $30.

Only experience I've had with Mika is they bent when the bike tipped over, could happen with any bar I'm sure but I'm not buying Mika's again.

Bonz bar clamps are the best you can buy. The bolts are oversized from stock size so if your triple clamp does not have rubber mounts you may need to drill the hole to a larger size. Simple drill press procedure if it is needed.

Tusk chubs from RMATV. Problem solved for under $50. People might dog on them because of the brand or name, but they are solid. I had a pair for 3 years and never bent them. When I sold the bike, I took them off and gave them to a friend. He still uses them going on 4 years now. That's 7 years of abuse with some brutal falls, and they're still going straight. I've bent 3 pairs of pro taper fat bars on fairly weak crashes.

You said you couldn't mount them so just return the bars and buy the correct size... Huh
