Who was the joker who was all bent out of shape that Elijah said he was "aiming for podiums?"

Not too dang bad for first rattle out of the box since he got hurt is it? There's no doubt Eli has what it takes, and I was one of the ones who had doubts about his getting used to the 450, and riding it right. Oh well...glad I was wrong. He looked great today.

Because its easy to talk shit, then be a man and come back and eat crow and say i was wrong like a man. Pretty if he was right you would hear, I told you so.

I never commented on Eli predictions. I think his result and riding was pretty damn impressive. Only thing that I question is basically all his good results this year seem to be on the same type of conditions. So be interesting to see if he can perform as well on different surface. (This year).

Very impressive, for sure. Next year, it'll be Ken and Eli's world, and we'll just be living in it.

I was impressed. It also surprised me that he was able to gap Canard the way he did. Good day for Eli.

Not going to lie I didn't think it would come that quickly. Great ride by Tomac! Podium first race back is awesome!

Really pumped for him, hopefully he can stay healthy now and start to build some consistency.

Great ride for sure. Never really doubted him just because it's Eli we're talking about. I was expecting top 5 before the day started.

I was impressed to and very glad he did we'll, although not as happy as I am for myself that I now get to watch another contender in the 450 class.Smile

Eli is a great rider and had a heck of a race today. But I feel a lot of his performance was due to waiting until he was fully healed (or close to fully healed) to compete instead of trying to ride while 70% healed. I'd like to congratulate Eli, his inner circle and his sponsors on making the wise decision not to try and come back too early!

It's not like the field was decimated with injury either. Pretty much everyone was present and accounted for, not counting Villopoto, of course.

Agreed. I knew he had speed, I just didn't see him doing it that quick. Lets see if he can carry it over to next weekend.

I'm not surprised. Hopefully he can mix it up for wins the entire moto soon!

Wait till Red Budd, Buds Creek, Milleville. ET is good on those surfaces/dirt.

Interesting to note that he is running Spring forks now. Wonder how he got Honda to allow that....

I dont geht why its so impressive tbh.
He was out not even 2 months, since may. Has not lost all bis speed in that time ofc...
Hes gotta work a bit on his fitness so he can run his pace from the first laps for 30min then he'll be good. Hopefully somewhere around the KTM guys

Elijah finishing on the podium in his first 450 outdoor is not impressive at all.

ofc its impressive but not surprising, thats what I meant actually...
Everybody know he was gonna get 5th easily, now Stewart had a bad day and he beat Canard (not his best day either), so he got third. Just talking from the results. My stream didnt really work :/

I thought the Honda was a POS? Going into the outdoors there was such a shadow on the Honda 450.. Canard and Tomac don't seem to mind to much.
