just wondering what pipes make what kind of power be it more top end or more torque. im specifically aiming at 250's and in particular the rm250. I have a hgs pipe on there and wondered wether this is atorquey pipe or top end pipe in comparison to others such as fmf/pro circuit ect. the bike feels massively torquey but after all I have just gone from a 125 so thatsineitable

I had a pro circuit pipe and R 304 silencer on my 07 RM 250. Compared to the stocker is smoothed out the power going from bottom to mid and pulled well into the top end. I preferred it over the stocker. From past experience pro circuit seem to focus on mid to top pipes where as the fmf fatty is aimed at boosting the standard power curve throughout the rev range, the gnarly is for bottom end and sst is mid to top. Bill's also make a good pipe that I have found to perform similar to pro circuit

On the Honda it's hard to beat the stocker, but I have the PC 304 for top end...I've ridden some bikes with shorty's too, more bottom and sounds better IMO..

The '05 stocker is nice, but I went Gnarly for offroad racing along with 14 toother up front.

I am a big fan of Mitch Payton's vision and purpose - I run Pro Circuit on my YZs.

I did the PC pipe & muffler, it hit lower an revved out with more meat. I also did the 8oz flywheel, I had an SST on it before, the SST was smooth, almost no hit. I like the hit for jumping & clearing stuff. The RM works well with a flywheel weight.
