I just moved here to Providence RI and ran across this website while looking for places to ride around here. Given my crazy work schedule, I think its an awesome idea.. Kinda pricey but so is everything else in this sport.

Haven't heard to much about it. Seems strange they don't have any construction pics. Hope it goes better than mototown did. That place was a disaster. They supposedly was another track being build in ct, but that kind of dissappeared

didn't the nearby several million dollar indoor MotoLand facility just close last year?
I'm all for moto, especially indoors for colder climates, but now?

Mototown USA was not more than 2 hours away and it didn't make it long. I like the idea, but I just hope that they have the cash to keep it going.

Think it'll have flaggers and med staff on site every night at 3am?

Med and flaggers? I was kinda shooting for bartenders and dancers between motos.

At 3 am do you really think they'll need flaggers?

Doubt they will have flaggers. Mototown USA only had flaggers for their races. Two deaths there within two weeks right after they opened brought some negative attention to the place. Was rock hard and not forgiving at all in a crash, more like a giant bmx track. Sucks that they planned so much but it was all talk.

would be cool. Can't imagine there being enough business to support that facility. As was said, if you are going to be open at 3 am, you need support staff at 3 am. How much does that cost?

Mototown never had any on site medical staff....Major problem. The place was known for tons of injuries. The fumes alone made everyone dizzy after about 15 minutes. Do to the ventilation needed, which still wasn't enough, it was impossible to heat or cool as they claimed it would be. It would be nice to have another place, but i just don't see it working.
