I know, i know, i know. Free practice doesn't mean anything in the GPs but Barcia 17th?! The guy has an knife to his throat considering his contract & results situation and that is how he starts the weekend?

7 seconds off Herlings. 2,7 off a top 10 position.

And he did 10 laps.

But it is only free practice.

Because he's that much better. But I know.... Herlings broke his femur last year and swapped moto wins with webb a month later

Webb only got a few laps before crashing, apparently. Hope he's OK but doesn't sound good. The bigger question should be why is Herlings 10 seconds faster than Tomac?

Well the americans probably aren't sure what to do with FREE practice.
Expect them to be quicker in timed practice and the quali race

Cairoli is often known to finish Saturdays times and racing some distance from the front,not 17th but just saying...
