2016 husky debut in U.S.??

Edited Date/Time 7/27/2015 7:00pm
I was just curious to know if anyone heard if the rockstar team will debut the '16 bike this year like tonkov and waters? Or if I'll have to wait till monster cup to see that beautiful, but short side plated machine rip up some American soil.

Won't see it in the outdoor mx series here in 2015 due to the homologation rule. I'm not sure what the rules are for MEC but I'd assume that's where you'd see the 2016 husky's being debuted here in the states.

It will be interesting to see if the 2016 US husky mx bikes get the air fork that comes on the 2016 euro ktm mx bikes.

Ahh yes, I forgot about them having to have a certain amount sold first. I know this is a dumb question, and has probably been answered in a thread I'm much too lazy to search for, but how did ktm get to use their "15.5" factory edition from the start of supercross this year?

Had 200 bikes in dealers by a certain date (3/1?) and 200 more by another certain date (6/1?)

Technically teams can race a bike that is not available to the public.

Can't wait to watch him race it. It seems like a lot of the stuff he was messing with this mx season was to get the bike to corner better, which this new bike should right out of the box..

I've loved the Husqvarna brand since I raced my '73 & '74 125 & 250CR's way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. So cool to see the banner flying again in professional MX/SX. That pit area is clean!

The current plastic won't fit the new bikes. They'll be on this new layout for at least 2 years, possibly 3 to 4.

I probably wouldn't like the plastics on another brand, but something about it just looks like a Husky. Me likey. My only complaint would be that they gave up the bright blue for the dark KTM blue.

I like that they've slimmed the steamshovel front fenders of the 2015's. That was fugly.

Glad they're not KTM clones any more, and have their own personalities.

Was thinking August 1st for an official US Press Release. I think I read that somewhere, right Manny?

I love the look of the new bike. I can't afford one, but will get the new front fender/# plate if it fits.

i assume they have lost quite a bit of weight on the bike as the ktm did? should be a good next year in the mxgp with nagl on it and giving febvre a run for his money.
as for the us riders, they should be able to run the new bikes at the us-gp because i m guessing they are already testing on the bikes?!

They aren't testing the bikes yet, the media batch just barely arrived.
