Why not, he has the most experience, also the most momentum coming in it?

Why not tomac, barcia,or Stewart they all sound like good bets to me as well,I'm picking a healthy tomac to win it,dunge is hard to bet against though...

never said they couldn't but, i don't think anyone will be able to beat a consistent Dungey

If Dungey is anywhere near as fast and consistent as this season, he will win it next year also. Pains me to say that for the sake of good racing, but it's true.

Hard to bet against Dungey, his consistency has been .. crazy.

It's hard to say though, last season (2015) we had 6 different main event winners in the 450 class: KR94, ET3, RD5, CR22, CS14, TC41 ...

I'm pretty confident that in 2016 it'll be even more.. Multiple candites: JA21, JS7, WP23, CP377 ...

All i'm hoping for is that all will appear healthy on the line for A1, we should be in for a great season!

Canard - if hes healthy will be a contender
Dungey - will always be a contender, my pick for another championship
Eli - depends how he adapts to the Kawasaki and his shoulders hold out
Barcia - will be there and abouts but I suspect up and down
Peick - will be a contender
Seely - I expect him to be as strong as last year..championship winner though..no
Stewart - heck who knows but baring injury I expect him to be a contender
Edit: Roczen - if hes healthy will be a contender

All the others might have a top 3 or even a win to their name but that's about it.

I think the only ones who will most likely to win the championship will be, Dungey, Canard, Tomac, Koczen
but i dont think the other have the same constancy to back up a win with a win
plus Jason anderson should be pretty fast this year, maybe even a top 5 overall (if he doesn't get hurt)

Safe money is on Dungey. Tomac could pull it off with a few bad races from the Dunge. Kroc will be right there. Depends on how he handles his late season drive.

Dungey very rarely has 1 bad race let alone 2

Yep, that's why the safe money is on him. Anything can happen though... Gotta run the races!

Besides last season dungey was on the podium 13/14 rounds at one point
he is the only one to have those stats

Many riders are capable of winning races, but the championship is a marathon and Dungey is the equivalent of an Ethiopian distance runner. I'm predicting he wraps up the title before Vegas... again.

I'm just stoked to see Peick get a W.
I'd love to see Stew finish the season.

Don't really care, just hope it's down to Vegas with at least 2 with a legitimate shot.

Stewart has 3 races in him before he "gets injured" because he's losing.

I love Canard but that boy cant keep her on two wheels.

Tomac is the fastest but likes to crash.

Dungey will win using the Hare & Tortoise technique.

The dark horse is Anderson.

barcia is feeling it right now but he has some work to do. i really think it's between the 'young guns' this year. et3, kroc and barcia. not that i dislike dungey but i have a feeling he won't be top 3 this year. i know it's crazy but ...

I think people need to stop with the Hare & Tortise or similar comments. He's the fastest fucking tortise ever maybe if you insist...

It's not like Dungey wasn't ever the fastest last year, nor did he only win when others weren't there. He was the fastest and won plenty because of just that.

Dungey has to be the favorite based on the way he rarely takes himself out and he and the latest gen KTM were really clicking last year.

Next is Roczen, if he puts a whole season together he can win for sure .

Eli has the potential but we haven't seen him be consistent enough to this point.

Barcia could suprise us all I think. He really seemed to find his mojo at the end of the season and he has SX skills along with holeshot skills.

Stewart will win a couple but if he were to win this title I think it might even suprise him.

Canard will take himself out at some point, Anderson may be in the mix but can he do it all year?

RD #1 favourite , what year will it be that the next generation will break through, TC KR & ET they all need to stay healthy & it will be a great year to witness. I hope the likes of Webb (& others) will be allowed to do selected rounds, looking forward only 5 weeks to wait. Smile

You think the defending champ who won the most races, and had the most podiums a year ago, and who's worst finish all season was a fourth, wont finish in the top three.

Thats some interesting logic. This isnt 1998.
