So I'll go with Tomac (for the title, not A1)
Would like to see Canard or Reed win though.
That being said, I think Roczen, Canard, Tomac, Millsaps, and Reed are all capable of getting hot enough to do that.
Either way I am a huge fan of the sport and good luck to all of these guys!!
Pit Row
stamp it
hah
Canard - Would love to see this guy have a great year..no injuries..if he can stay in the fight he will be top 3 at the end of the year.
Millsaps - Going off the MEC results is one thing, but seeing how he fairs a A1 will show what the year may play out...Wouldn't mind seeing DM18 have a great year as well and if he won the title Id be pleasantly surprised.... What is the longest duration of race seasons a rider has been active in the 450 class (or old 250 days) before they won their first title? Milsaps has been around a while
Roczen - Title is his for the taking and is a top favorite.....although I have a feeling things may not go to plan.....wouldn't be surprised if he took over the dominating roll or flounders
Tomac - I think honestly is second in line as a title favorite....He has all the credentials to take that top step and he just may come out on top
Reed - Good ol' Reed... He will be up there for sure and you have to pull for the old guy....There is such thing as over confidence and I sense a little bit of that this year for some reason ...last year he had some great rides followed by another uncharacteristic (what appeared to be to me) pushing the limits crash as he was battling for 4th/ 5th spot at " his house".... so we'll have to see....Reed always paints the perfect picture and does all the preseason " i'm in it to win it and you forgot to include my picture on the billboard" mind games...you cant count him out....until he is out...
Since his rookie season SX title, he's gone 3(RV 1'st, Reedy 2'cd), 3(RV 1'st, Davi 2'cd), 3(Again RV 1'st, Davi 2'cd) and 2.
As you can see, when there are multiple guys who are on his level of speed you can't confidently predict he's going to win the title on consistency! And this field, even without James and RV, has plenty of guys who are on his level or above. And that have also beaten him in the past numerous times.
ICE Trey from a few years back would've been my pick, so unless he's got that mojo back I'll take Eli. As he seems to have the "eye of the tiger" in him.
